I think it was good for my kids, I used a yellow cake mix with the pudding in it. So I doubled it, I used 3 eggs, cooked it longer and added some oil to the butter to measure 1 cup. It turn out good. I'll use the jiffy yellow cake mix next time, to see how that does. The marshmallow trick turned out great! 1124

Very easy & quick to make. I took this to a Christmas party & everyone loved it. I used chocolate chips instead of M&Ms.

Looks very Christmassy. The taste was great. A little tricky to cut and the marshmallows make it sticky, gooey, and a little too chewy.

I served this at a holiday party. No one really ate these. And the few who did said that it was way too sugary. Maybe these would be better for a children's holiday party instead. Kids tend to like the real sugary stuff.

I made this for a church bake sale, and had a couple that the edge was a little too browned, so my family got to taste test. I substituted chocolate-caramel swirl chips for the M&M's and did not use peanuts and it was a hit! Easy to make, although I did add a tiny bit more water to the cake mix, because it was so dry that it wasn't sticking together. Overall easy to make and tastes great! I will bake this again for Christmas party.

I made this for a holiday treat party and thought it was the easiest recipe I ever used. However, when I went to cut the "bars" from the pan, the entire cake crumbled! I followed the directions exactly as stated, but the cake box called for water, 3 eggs and oil. I believe because I didn't follow the cake's instructions, this didn't turn out as planned. You should directl people (who don't bake) to follow the cake boxes directions, not yours. I don't know how everyone else made this come out like a cookie. Maybe I should have used the brownie mix as the other person just suggested...but that's only if you love chocolate cake. Oh well :o(

This turned out great! I followed the recipe exactly. Next time I'll use a brownie mix for the bottom. My husband loves it extra fudgy!
