Too bland. Little to no flavor. Tried adding salt, pepper and Parmesan. Added items might have brought rating up to a 2 star.
This receipe was great!! I am from South Louisiana so I doctored it up a bit. Before you do anything,I added the 1/4 cup onions, 1/4 cup bell pepper, 1/4 cup of celery ( this mixture is called the trinity) . Saute the trinity in about 2 table spoons of butter until soft. Continue the recipe as follows and add the shrimp, cream cheese, etc to the trinity. ( I added seasonal, salt/pepper, and garlic powder to Shrimp). I also added a 1/2 cup of milk when I added the cream cheese. This gave the cream cheese something to melt to and made the dish extra creamy. My husband was in loveeeee with this dish , I will DEF make it again :)
After reading some of the other reviews I too added the italian seasoning and substituted the spinach for basil and also used canned tomatoes. In addition to these incredients I also added mushrooms. It turned out really good and I would definitely make this dish again.
This was a wondderful recipee and so easy and quick. I followed some other suggestions and used the garden vegetable cream cheese which was a nice touch and added so much flavor. This recipee would also taste good with chicken.
This was so good and very easy to make. I followed the suggestions of several other reviewers and used garden veggie cream cheese, canned diced tomatos in garlic (drained), italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil. YUMMY!
i also made this with chicken. just as good!
Loved it! I was very easy to make. I had a similar dish at a restaurant recently. I would recommend it for those who like creamy pasta sauces.
Added garlic and some Italian seasoning and used cherry tomatoes. Would make it again, but would probably add more veggies as other posters have indicated.
My husband liked it...i didn't add all the cream cheese and add some thin green peppers it was really good next time i add a little bit more flavor to it, and i use basil diced tomatoes
Instead of tomatoes I used canned Italian style tomatoes, and added garlic and herbs to the shrimp.
