Green Beans & Bacon with Pasta

This is a great, easy, quick side dish. I used whole wheat pasta, and the green beans in dressing really dressed it up. My husband was pleased.

I, too, was a bit skeptical - greens beans over pasta? In the end, I was truly amazed by how tasty (and especially easy) this recipe was! Since it's a great way to sneak in some veggies for my pasta-loving husband, it's a win-win in my book.

We loved this. I used sliced Polska Kielbasa for the meat, then a packet of cooked Ramen noodles stirred in for the pasta and the seasoning packet for added flavor. A great use for green beans from the garden. Wow! if one could use 6 stars I would.

I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but it ended up being fabulous. My DH said I'd have to make it again sometime soon. I substituted a few tablespoons of imitation bacon bits and added some extra dressing after I added the greenbeans to the onions to give it all more flavor. I'm glad I have frozen green beans left over from making it so that I can make it again here in a few weeks. It was so delicious.

My family loved this recipe. Even my brothers ate their green beans with the bacon. This is a great way to include veggies in a meal!

I took to a family gathering erveryone loved it. I gave this recipe to so many friends and family members. It is very easy to make. This is a wonderful change to what veggie can I get the kids to eat tonight. Most kids like pasta so this was a winner with them.
