I don't really like potato skins by my husband does so I made these. As good as a restaurant. I used shredded cheddar for the cheese.

Made this for the first time today and loved it. My husband and daughter weren't too crazy about them, which absolutely surprised me. I even left some without sour cream for my husband. For a crispier skin, I rubbed oil on the potatoes, and then salted them before putting them in the over for an hour and 15 minutes. I followed the recipe exactly, however, next time I will be using shredded cheddar instead of the Cheez Whiz.

I did everything in the recipe but it didn't taste like the one at the resturant. Is there any way to make the skins crispy and not burn it. Help! I really want to make it again.

Very good. I used shredded cheddar cheese instead of melted cheese whiz and just put it back in the oven for a minute longer to melt the cheese.

I have not made this yet but wanted to answer the question of the previous poster, jesmar. The recipe states that the 2 lbs potatoes, baked. So they should be baked when you begin the recipe. Hope that helps.

Can someone please tell me how to scoop the insides out of a raw potato. I think next time I will microwave the potato first so it's softer.

I made these for the game on Sunday and everyone loved them. I used shredded Chedder cheese instead of the cheese whiz. Came out great!

Made these for a football party and they were so easy to make! I baked the potatoes in plastic wrap in the microwave to cut down on cooking time and then followed the rest of the recipe in the oven.

Tasted good. Took some effort though.
