ACTUALLY !I make a very similar recipe but I GUARANTEE if you like spicy add some ROTEL tomatoes to that and you you will make it that way every time
Our familly has been making this dip for years. In addition to the ingredients listed, we also add 3/4lb to 1 lb. of hamburger AND i package of cream cheese. It is very yummy. with just the ingredients listed it is only 3 stars to my family. but it is 5 stars with our ingredients added.
This was good, but lacking something that I couldn't put my finger on. It reminded me of the queso from Chili's restaurant.
This chili-cheese dip is so easy to make and tastes sooooooo good!!! ;)
I made this for my sisters college graduation party and everyone loved it! Very tasty. I used the Mexican Velveeta and a can of chili with beans. I stirred in some milk after melting to thin it a bit and kept it in a small crock pot. It was the first thing empty on the buffet, I should have made 2 batches, I had no idea it would be so popular.
Very easy recipe to make. I made this for the Super Bowl and it went fast. I added 24 oz of the Velveeta Cheese, 2 cans of no bean chili, and about 2lbs of cooked hamburger meat in the crock pot on low. The slow cooker melted the cheese and kept it warm. You just need to make sure you stir it every once in a while other wise a thin film will develop on top. Served with tortilla chips and a great filler.
I really liked this dip. It was very simple and the velveeta tasted perfect with it. I used Bush's chili with beans. I put some cheddar bread in the oven to get it warm and a little crispy and used for dipping. My boyfriend liked it but gave it a 3 out of 5. I guess I liked it more than he did! But he still enjoyed it. Would love to make for a bigger crowd or super bowl party.
My family has been making this for years...we looooove it!
It was great! I took some left over chili and just added the cheese.
I love this recipe! It is so simple and perfect for an afternoon or late night snack!
