I used fat-free condensed milk, it's so tasty you don't miss the fat from the milk. The whole family enjoys coconut, so this is a wonderful treat for all of us.

Ok, SO GOOD. I'm obsessed with coconut and gooeyness and simplicity. I couldn't stop eating them when they came out of the oven. I made these for a cookie exchange at Christmas.

They did NOT turn out well in fact, they were the same runny mess before & after the oven - only the coconut was a bit browned.

I've made this recipe for years and everyone LOVES them.....I know others have made them and they don't come out the same....I'm not sure why....but you gotta love the almost gooey, sweetness to them. My hints.....use a clean spatula for each tray you cook and try dipping them in melted chocolate for a extra sweet idea!

sometimes instead of adding vanilla I add almond extract and I also use parchment paper or no stick foil.

I've noticed that the package has a new recipe, however, this is the best, just three ingredients. I recommend that you use parchment paper to line the cookie sheet and cook at a lower temp (325). I also recommend that you use an ice cream scoop and do not press them down. They will stay together and be very moist!

These are so good! It's hard to stop with just two. My neighbors love when I make these since I take them some to keep my nibbling under control.

My clients "love" them. They are hard to get off cookie sheet. I add a tablespoon of flour to help them stay together. AND-- I add chopped nuts. Add your favorite, mix well with ingrediance. Grease cookie sheet well! I bake mine at 300 degrees till edges get brown--about 10-12 minutes. Some people grease cookie sheet, then flour to help from sticking. (As you would baking a cake). Gail
