Bacon Appetizer Crescents

What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled

1/3

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

1/4

cup finely chopped onions

Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Tbsp. milk

cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX all ingredients except crescent dough.

SEPARATE each can of dough into 8 triangles; cut each triangle lengthwise in half. Spread each dough triangle with 1 generous tsp. cream cheese mixture; roll up, starting at short side of triangle. Place, point-sides down, on baking sheet.

BAKE 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.

I don't think I've ever NOT eaten something I made - these were a first. Made them exactly as stated, and they looked just like the picture - but that combo of onions/cream cheese/bacon was just not for us. None of us liked them.

These little pieces of heaven were delish to say the least. I have been deamed "the cream cheese snack lady". Now this is "my" treat to bring to all the family gatherings, not my choice, but I l'm glad with the outcome, non-the-less. I enjoyed making such an easy & tasty treat. Thanks a million!

Made these for Thanksgiving this year - very tasty, but I agree with all those who had trouble figuring out how to cut and roll them. Mine didn't turn out too pretty, although they tasted great. I think, too, I would try the chive cream cheese and bacon mix as a cracker spread by itself - really yummy combo!

The directions about folding and cutting into wedges were difficult to understand. Getting 12 wedges was impossible. The filling was very good. I finally gave up on the mess and turned the filling into a cheeseball.

I brought this for as an appetizer for a brunch meeting and everyone loved it! All of the sweets got passed over and people were coming back for more of these. The supervisor at the meeting asked me if he could take the rest home to show his wife!

I have never received so many compliments! I used the pre-packaged bacon-pieces, they worked great (and no mess). This recipe was quick and easy and I will most definitely make them again!!!
