I have been making this appy for a few years (although my recipe didnt call for the parm cheese ). I have also substituted roasted peppers for the bacon and it is amazing. I get rave reviews on both bacon and peppers. If you use the peppers just make sure to drain them well on a paper towel or they will be a bit soggy.

The time estimate for preparation and baking was very accurate.

Great recipe! Great finger food for parties! An easy tip...instead of cooking and crumbling bacon yourself, just use 1/2 - 3/4 pkg. of Oscar Mayer's Real Bacon Bits. You don't even have to cook them, just mix them right in. Saves loads of time!

Very easy and quick to make. I agree that it is easier if you cut into larger pieces. Very tasty, everyone loved for a football appetizer!!

I made this recipe, took it to a party and it was gone in 5 minute. It is easier to cut the wedges into bigger pieces.

Made these on 9/15/06, they were so easy! We got a call for a impromptu party. Call was at 4:30, party was at 6:00. I ran to the store, bought the ingredients, and quickly put everything together! At the party, they were gone by 6:20. Awesome recipe!!!!! Tami
