I made this as a cupcake recipe. Everyone was freaking out about how great they were. I used de-caf coffee, and German Chocolate cake mix. I even had enough icing left over to re-fill the cool whip tub, and I put it in the freezer for next time! De-lish!

This was a delicious cake!!! Will definitely make again. I tried putting it in the freezer for a few hours before cutting and it cut very easily and mess free. I also put it back in the freezer for a little while so the frosting would not melt.

I made this cake last year for the Super Bowl as well as a function at my church. Everyone loved it!

Have made this cake for several church functions and have always been asked for the recipe. Most have thought it would be a difficult cake to make because it tastes so good. I especially like the light frosting on this cake. I usually don't eat frosting myself.

This receipe was amazing! It was a huge hit at the superbowl party. I used the sides to make the football fuller in the middle and made extra iceing. It looked great! Thanks for the receipe.

The frosting was very very good. I sliced the cake into two, and spread seedless raspberry jam between each slice. I would use the frosting for something else, too.
