Quick tip for easy frosting is to freeze the cake before trimming into football shape. Almost no crumbs and frosting looks great

i make this football cake for football parties, and its a great hit. for an easier, and maybe quicker football, you can cut out a a 2x9 rectangle out of the middle of the cake. then you can remove the rectange and push the reminaing cake together, with some frosting in between. I then serve it on a platter with toasted coconut, that i tinted gree (to resemble grass) with the leftover rectangle, you can cut it up into bite sized pieces, and frost the tops, and put a toothpick into each one for easy eating.

Yummy made it for superbowl Sunday. Everybody liked it will make again

This was a hit at the Halloween party I attended because I went as the ultimate football fan!

I love chocolate cake and coffee this sounds so good will have to make it for the next game. it is a winner
