lb. ground beef

lb. (16 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut up

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Tbsp. yellow mustard

Tbsp. ketchup

Make It

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain, reserving meat in skillet. Reduce heat to low.

ADD remaining ingredients; cook until VELVEETA is melted, stirring occasionally.

SERVE hot with french fries, bread chunks or assorted NABISCO Crackers.

Variation - BOCA® Cheeseburger Dip

Substitute 1 pouch (1 cup) frozen BOCA Ground Crumbles, thawed, for the drained browned ground beef. Mix with remaining ingredients in skillet; cook as directed.

To Double

For a quick-and-easy snack, prepare as directed doubling all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate any leftover dip. To reheat, place dip in microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH until heated through, stirring every 30 seconds. Makes 44 servings, 2 Tbsp. each.

Special Extra

For a festive touch, serve dip in a bread bowl. Simply cut lengthwise slice from top of 1-lb. round bread loaf. Remove center of loaf, leaving 1-inch-thick shell. Tear removed bread into bite-sized pieces to serve with dip or reserve for another use. Fill bread shell with hot dip just before serving.

We make this dip for parties, and for "snack tray dinners." Everyone in the family, young to old, loves this treat. It's an all time favorite that we eat with chips, fries, bread cubes, and ladled over hotdogs. Yumm!

It really tastes like a cheeseburger!! Its a great alternative to the common mexican dip.

This is a great dip. I made it at a party and everyone loved it. Also try cooking it in a crock pot. Yes, it takes a little longer but it stays hot.

This is the best dip. Tried it last superbowl and have had it for several other parties. Tastes just like a cheeseburger. French Fries are ok but they don't stick well. I would recommend Fritos Scoops.
