the texture was not that of a fudge, It lacked the peanut butter tast. It had the consistacy of a big marshmallow instead of smooth like fudge.

takes some time from start to finish, especially if you double the batch, but well worth it.

I made this exactly as stated, except w/ marshmallow creme because many people said the regular marshmallow didn't turn out. It still came out very gooeey & I couldn't even cut it to remove from the pan. my husband ate a few spoonfuls directly from pan, but tasted like thick sugary peanut butter, so I threw it out. Total waste of good ingredients & $$! will not use this recipe again.

If this recipe didn't work out, use the marshmello creme...I've talked to people up on macinaw island where they are famous for their fudge..they told me NOT to refrigerate the fudge...

fudge turned out the consistency of wax. I have never had fudge fail until this recipe. Has a great taste, but to 'waxy' in consistency.

The fudge came out gooey for some reason. I don't know why but the other fantasy fudge calls for marshmallow creme. I followed this recipe instead. I believe that could be the reason why. I don't know. I tried and don't like it. I'm going to play with it and see what I can come up with using creme instead.
