Cut off the top of an angel food cake.. Hollowed out the inside of the cake, folded the pieces of angel food cake, sliced strawberries and part of the whipped cream together. Filled the cake and put the top back on. Used the rest of the whipped cream frosting to cover the whole cake and then sprinkled the remaining strawberries on top. Delicious and beautiful!

This tasted great my family loved it. It stays firm just like the store bought cakes with whipped cream and taste great. This I will continue making.

When heating the gelatin remove from heat immediately upon seeing it all dissolved and clear liquid there. I over did it the first time, kept it heating for the full two minutes and it clumped up and would not blend with the creme. Other then that mistake it was great tasting whip creme, just like the store bought cakes!

Great recipe! I used it on Italian Rum Cake and it held up well and tasted great!

I looked for a long time to find a whip cream I could make here in the desert Yucca Valley- that would hold firm . This recipe did it! Wonderful!!

It sounds so delicious and easy that I'll will sure make it! I love to mix whipped cream with my cake frosting to make it smoother and easier to spread on cake.
