This is great using the "poke cake" and colored cool whip!
My grandmother used to make this for me when I was young and now I make it for my daughter! Thanks everyone for the different ideas with frostings and candies!
I've made the bunny cake since before I had kids (I'm a grandma now). I usually make my own icing and only use coconut on part of the cake because one son hates coconut. I've used all sorts of different decorating methods and its always a hit!
I've been making this cake with my kids for years. They love decorating it with candy, and love showing it off to family and friends at Easter gatherings!! One our family favorites!!
I made a slight change. Instead of the whipped creame for icing I made a Cream Cheese icing. Everyone at work loved it.
It was very easy!! Thanks
My mom and I have been making this cake for years!! Instead of the coolwhip we use 1 can of cream cheese frosting. The kids fight over who gets to eat the bunny's nose and the grown ups fight over the ears! YUMMY Cake!
My kids had fun helping me make this. It took alot longer to decorate than I thought. My kids didn't like the coconut, so a lot of the cake went to waste.
This cake was easy to make and I am not a regular baker. I didn't have a tray large enough for all of it, so I left out the bow tie (see photo). I used white frosting instead of cool whip because I didn't want to refrigerate it. I used twist liqorice for the mouth and whiskers and just cut it thinner. I was very please with the end result.
This cake was easy to make and turned out very cute! I used fluffy white whipped frosting instead of cool whip since I had to transport it un-refrigerated. Also colored a little of the frosting blue and used it for the bow-tie. Turned out great!!
