This is a great idea! I didn't use this particular recipee. I made a carrot cake instead, but made it in the bunny head shape, and it turned out great!

I was so excited to see this recipe! This brought back some great memories. My sister was born on Easter, so every year, even though it wasn't always Easter, my mom would make this cake for her birthday and it became a tradition that we carried into adulthood. We moved apart from each other and then she passed away 3 years ago. This was a great reminder of the wonderful sister that I miss dearly!

I made this recipe over 30 years ago from the Bakers Coconut Book and plan on making it this year for my grandchildren. Then, the recipe called for frosting. Fun and easy cake to make.

Love this cake! I've never done a cut up cake before and this one was so easy to do. Everyone thought I must have spent forever on it because it was so cute. I did vary the recipe a bit. I used vanilla frosting instead of cool whip. I also dyed some coconut for the center of the ears. I will be making this every year!

My daughter and I make this every Easter! It is a family favorite, not difficult to make and FUN to decorate with kids!

My Kids and I made it together, all kids didnt like cocount cover, so we made with white whip cream alone on topping. with all candies on top as Jelly Beans, and others. Everyone love it! Will make it again next easter!!
