I have made these several times. I add 1 t cinnamon and 1 diced fine apple. I also make a simple glaze for the top, 1/2 c powdered sugar 1/2 t cinnamon and 1 T buttermilk. more

I made these for a coffee hour and church and they went like hot cakes. Everyone loved them. I will be putting them in my permanet collection
The muffins were moist and brany. We added 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 1/2 tspn. nutmeg, 1/4 tspn. allspice. We also substituted the flour for some whole wheat flour to make it more bran and wheat flavor. We used chunky applesauce to get some apple chunks. Next time, will add more apples and maybe the raisins in the raisin bran. This is a versatile recipe, because you can add any fruit to it. We may add pineapple chunks, macadamian nuts, and pineapple juice for a tropical bran muffin!
I followed someone else's advice and added 1 tsp. cinnamon to the dry ingredients. Also, before baking I sprinkled each muffin with a little wheat germ for added nutrition. The other ladies in my office love them, so I printed out recipes to share!
I thought the muffins were pretty good and very easy to make. I will add about a teaspoon of cinnamon or maybe use cinnamon applesauce next time for more flavor, though. I picked the raisins out of the cereal because we don't care for them. They muffins did turn out very moist. I used muffin liners and they stuck to them so next time I will use cooking spray. I will defiently make these again.
This is a quick and wonderful breakfast meal in itself. Just grab one, and go. They are very filling and nutritious. My whole family enjoys these!

this recipe was ok. me being a single mom, it was easy to make for my little girl. she loved them, mostly because i had to pick out the raisins from the cereal. so, if u have a kid who hates fruit, simply pick out the fruit! it works. this recipe made my life easier
We loved this recipe. Even my husband liked them. This is a keeper.
I made these for my family to go along with the egg and ham caserole. They were a big hit. Then the ones leftover made a great and fast nutricious breakfast the next morning. My family loves them. I would recommend them for a snack, breakfast, or to use as a bread with meals.
