I follow a low-cal diet that is high in fiber and protein. These muffins fill me up and give me something to look forward to in the morning. I used egg whites to cut fat, and substituted vanilla soy milk to add flavor. Delicious and healthy!!!!!!

This is one of the best recipes I have ever made. The applesauce makes it moist. The raisin bran gives it a great taste while giving fiber.

I thought for a bran muffin these were great. I added extra raisins (my family loves raisins) and pecans the second time and they were just as good. They freeze very well.

I think this is an excellent recipe. It doesn't have the tough, chewy consistency that I have noticed in other bran muffin recipes. I found the flavor very tasty. The only change I made was egg substitute for the whole egg

I found these muffins rather bland and wished that I had perused the comments made by others who took the time to rate this recipe. I did note that additional ingredients were made to the original recipe. The recipe in itself is lacking in taste but must comment that the muffins were nice and moist.

Tastes best the very first day with creamcheese. It's nice without too much sugar.

My husband is NOT a big low-cal fan. He absolutely adores these muffins. I will definately be making this recipe again!
