STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake

STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake recipe

Comfort food gets even cozier when stuffing is involved. Add chicken and sour cream and you've got a piping-hot reason to run, not walk, to the table.

It was fast and easy and my husband loved it. It has great flavor. I just made some frozen peas while it baked in the oven and dinner was ready in no time. Great receipe for full-time working women.

I've made a version of this before on the stove top and thought I would try it in the oven. 1 HOUR LATER at 400 degrees and the chicken is still RAW! And no there is nothing wrong with my oven. Would strongly recommend cooking the chicken before mixing. My kids fell asleep waiting for it to finish cooking and therefore did not get to eat.

This recipe was excellent and my family loooved it! To give it a little extra crunch I added some fried onions and green beans to it. I figured that the fried onions and green beans would be great with it since there is the cream of mushroom soup in the recipe just like in a green bean cassarole. And I was right!! So try these ideas I am sure you will looove it too!

This was so yummy, even my 3 kids ate it all! I added a layer of thinly sliced swiss cheese on top of the chicken, before the soup mixture. Delicious!

This is so "easy" & delicious! I use part chicken broth & part water for the stuffing. I've made this several times & would recommend it as a "Quick" Dinner from the pantry!
