STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake

STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake recipe

Comfort food gets even cozier when stuffing is involved. Add chicken and sour cream and you've got a piping-hot reason to run, not walk, to the table.

This was delicious. My kids and I loved it. I doubled the sour cream and added 2 cups mixed vegies over the chicken. I also added a little salt and lemon pepper and a little powdered chicken bouillion over the vegies and chicken. This was a big hit in my house!!!!

A hit with hubby! Didn't cut up chicken; sprinkled w/garlic powder & poultry seasoning. Used cream of chicken soup mixed with sour cream for sauce. Also substituted StoveTop cornbread stuffing mix, combined w/ approx 1/2 c. chopped onion & 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper; used 2 c. boiling water to which I added 1 chicken-flavored bouillon cube. Covered while baking. FABULOUS!

Too dry. Simply tastes like chicken and stuffing.

This recipe is a classic that can be spun many different ways by adding different veggies and cheeses. I always add more sour cream and season the chicken well before I mix everything. I am making it tonight with brocolli, onions and a little cheddar cheese.
