STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake

STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake recipe

Comfort food gets even cozier when stuffing is involved. Add chicken and sour cream and you've got a piping-hot reason to run, not walk, to the table.

This was a very simple, quick and tasty meal. I used chicken broth instead of water and cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom. Yummy, family really liked it, will make again.

My family loved this and request it often. I used chicken broth in place of water and omitted the sour cream then topped with cheddar cheese. YUM-YUM

So easy and very tasty...even for lunch the next day. I used cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom as I don't care for mushrooms. Still great.

The chicken itself was a little bland. Next time I'll try cream of chicken soup to see if it helps. Overall, the hubs and I enjoyed this super easy dish!

This dish is amazing! My husband's favorite dinner. He says it reminds him of the "Sunday Night Suppers" of his childhood, only it's easy enough to make after a hard day at work! I like to add a few pecans to the stuffing for a little extra flavor and crunch.

Actually, I made this with Pork Chops...Hope that was Ok.....I browned the Pork Chops with salt, pepper & Garlic powder..then I set them aside...then I added sliced onions, can of cream of Mushroom, sour cream and then topped it with stuffing...My husband loved it...but I thought it was a little to rich for me...next time maybe I will thin out the soup more and omit the sour cream..and use chicken broth instead.??
