STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake

STOVE TOP One-Dish Chicken Bake recipe
Comfort food gets even cozier when stuffing is involved. Add chicken and sour cream and you've got a piping-hot reason to run, not walk, to the table.

Very quick, very easy, very good! We will make this one again!
Very good! I tweaked it a bit by using Chicken Broth instead of water for the stuffing...same amount as called for. I also used 1 c. of Sour Cream and added some diced onion...about 3/4 c. I added an 8 oz. can of sliced mushrooms and doubled the Mushroom Soup to 2 cans...we are big mushroom lovers. I added 3/4 c. shredded cheddar to the soup and sour cream mix. I baked uncovered for 40 minutes, lightly peppered it after serving, and it was delish!! Will definitely make again...and again!
I have made this recipe several times in our RV oven. The chicken did not cook through when left whole, so the next time I cut it up into bite-sized pieces and spread it on bottom of pan. I also cut the recipe in half and used a smaller pan. Turned out great!
This was a very simple, quick and tasty meal. I used chicken broth instead of water and cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom. Yummy, family really liked it, will make again.
My family loved this and request it often. I used chicken broth in place of water and omitted the sour cream then topped with cheddar cheese. YUM-YUM
very easy! turned out like it should have. everyone liked it.
Very simple and the kids like.
So easy and very tasty...even for lunch the next day. I used cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom as I don't care for mushrooms. Still great.
The chicken itself was a little bland. Next time I'll try cream of chicken soup to see if it helps. Overall, the hubs and I enjoyed this super easy dish!
This dish is amazing! My husband's favorite dinner. He says it reminds him of the "Sunday Night Suppers" of his childhood, only it's easy enough to make after a hard day at work! I like to add a few pecans to the stuffing for a little extra flavor and crunch.
