You can also use plain yougert in place of the creamcheese. We tried it with both bread and butter and dill pickles, the dill went faster than the bread and butter.

These are a little bit of a pain to make, what with having to soak up the juice from the pickles, etc. But they are worth the extra effort. My family flipped over them!

This was a messy to make and not worth the effort. The next time I will stick to the traditional "Beef & Cheese Logs" (cream cheese rolled up with beef slices) that eaveryone likes.

I would probably use flour tortillas instead of the meat and herb and garlic cream cheese instead of garden vegetable. And my own dill pickles would be in the middle. Sounds Dee-lish! You could even use flakes of ham or turkey and mix it in with the cream cheese then spread on tortillas and roll, roll, roll.

I have made these for many years and they do no last very long. It seems that I can never make enough for all of my friends and family. It is now a regular custom for all holidays...
