I like the salad but I like to throw a few pecans in along with some chopped red onions and diced apple. Depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

A good interpretation of an old standby. I added just a hint of ginger and nutmeg to perk it up just a bit.

BEST WHEN FULLY CHILLED ! Passed the husband's approval test - one of the few recipes his late mother never could make and she was an excellent cook, too.

Our family has been making this for years. It's such a great way to get in your fruit and veggies. The marshmallows are a nice treat too!

My grandmother has been making carrot salad years before I was born. I made it once for my family and friends now it's part of my holiday meals. I love it and so will you.

I really love this salad. I have doubled the recipe and taken it to work and picnics. It is always a great hit. I added a quarter cup more raisins for personal taste. You should really try this one!! Excellent!!

Now when the store doesn't have it I can make it. It was good. I love this and used it buy it in a small container at the food store but then they didn't carry it for a long time.

my mother and i have always made this salad for thanksgiving but its very good in the summer and spring time too. i have always enjoyed it, it doesnt sound all that good but once you taste it you are hooked!

I found that the recipe was real simple. It has a good mix of flavors. This is something that I will be making in the future.

This recipe was so easy to make. It is sweet enough that you don't need to add sugar. I make this recipe almost twice a month. It's a great way for kids to get their vegetables.
