I switched the cherry pie filling to strawberry pie filling. I also switched the cherry gelatin to a strawberry gelatin. The overall taste remindered me of a strawberry shortcake.

This dish went over so well with my family. It made a 9x13 pan and it was gone in no time. I have to send it to my cousins as they all raved about it. Thanks for this great desert, it will be made often.

Very festive and very tasty. You must however really "plan" to make it since it has to made in stages and can't just be thrown together in a few minutes, Definitely worth the extra time though.

Reminds me of a light cherry cheesecake dessert! I also used sugar free jello and pudding to make the recipe a little lighter on the sugar content!

I made this for Christmas, and everyone commented on how delicious it was. It is simple to make, and very appealing. I had to send the recipe home with my teenage nephew so that he could make it too. Will make this again and again!!

I made it with sugar free gelatin, fat free cool whip and fat free pound cake. It turned out absolutely delicious! It is truly worth making and most definitely will make again!

I made this for Christmas morning (2003). Everyone loved it! For a festive touch, I sprinkled a little green sugar on top before serving.
