Spooky Eyeball Tacos

What You Need

lb. ground beef

pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Seasoning Mix

TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Shells

cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

3/4

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

can (2-1/4 oz.) sliced black olives, drained

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MIX meat and seasoning mix; shape into 36 (1-inch) balls. Place in 15x10x1-inch pan.

BAKE 15 to 20 min. or until done (160ºF).

FILL each taco shell with 1 meatball; drizzle with salsa. Top with 2 meatballs dipped in sour cream. Garnish with olives to resemble eyeballs.

Variation

Prepare using leaner cuts of ground beef, such as ground round or ground sirloin, and BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream.

Substitute

Substitute TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Sauce for the salsa.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.

great idea...had trouble keeping the eye balls in the tacos but great recipe. Party favorite!

I made this last year for a potluck for work and it went over better than I expected. Everyone really enjoyed the "eyeballs" with the tacos.

Fun, but I had a hard time getting them in the tacos without breaking the shell.

My kids had so much fun making these silly tacos. I made extra "eyeballs" so they would break up the meat in the bottom. They all did it by themselves and we took pictures and they were very proud of what they did. Some don't like tomatoes but ate them when it was used as the mouth. Fantastic idea and very fun - Thanks!
