something went wrong - I think you are supposed to beat the egg whites before you mix with other ingredients - but the recipe doesn't tell you that - these turned out terrible

This is one of my favorite holiday cookies I made last year. I'm very excited to make it again this year. It is absolutely delicious. Only thing I would suggest is to push in the edges of the cocokie a bit with the spatula once it comes out of the oven. Mine spread a bit too much and this helped not too lose too much when removing from the cookie tray.

Excellent recipe for macaroons. The citrus flavor is wonderful in combination with the white chocolate. I do recommend baking them on parchment paper to avoid sticking.

Very delicious macaroons and the chocolate makes a nice presentation! I did need 2 squares of chocolate to have enough to drizzle and cover 24 cookies, though.

I made these cookies without the lemon peel and they were WONDERFUL! I got a ton of compliments, even from people who claim they don't like coconut!
