My grandmother made these cookies from the time I was a little girl, i'm 42 now. Instead of cinnamon and sugar she sprinkled them with powdered sugar and used plum jam for the nut filling....Incredible!!

These are fun to make and taste good, but could use more preserves. Make sure to put a lot of the cinnamon and sugar on each for maximum taste.

I USE BOYSENBERRY-PRESERVES AS WELL AS GRAPEFRUIT-PRESERVES, ABSOLUTLY DELICIOUS, IT HAS BECOME A FAVORITE IN MY FAMILY. HAPPY HOLIDAYS
