Wonderful. I would change the frosting but still good. Super moist.

I was a little skeptical of cooking with the brandy eventhough I knew it's just for cooking. I used cherry dessert syrup instead.Make sure that the cake cools before you put the cool Whip on it. I also put it in the refrigerator so that the cool whip would stick better. I used real cherries on top of the cake to prevent any kind of mess. The cake was outstanding! My three year old son loves it and I'm making it for Thanksgiving.

People always compliment on how moist this cake is each time I make it and it's super easy and feels light with the whipped frosting.

I made this tonight for my husband and kids and it was so good. One of the best cakes I have made and it was so easy. It came out so pretty.I used 2 tubs of cool whip and used the extra creamy.

Made for my dad's birthday, everybody loved it. Will drain juice from the cherry pie filling before putting on top of the cake next time. It ran off the sides, had to cover with more cool whip.

Cool Whip was melting faster than I could spread it. I'd recommend something thicker.
