Yes, Virginia, there really was an Alfredo. Frankly, we think he’d love our version of his pasta dish. Like his, ours is simple yet spectacular.

I like the flavor of the sauce on the pasta, however, the sauce is a little runny. I think maybe next time, I will cut back on the amount of milk in the recipe.
This alfredo sauce is washy and not tasty. The nutmeg is awful and doesn't fit to the other ingredients. I suggest using whipping cream instead of milk, mozarella and parmesan cheese instead of philadelphia.
Just made this recipe and I LOVED it! It's great for when I don't have a lot of ingredients at home and I want pasta with something different than tomato sauce!
This had a great flavor but we didn't like the "grainy" texture left by the Kraft Grated Parmesan. I might have to splurge next time & buy "real" Parmesan cheese. Hopefully it will melt a little smoother.
This is absolutely one of our FAVORITE recipes from Kraft. It's our go-to sauce when we want an easy, but nice dinner as a family. We love to add chopped bacon and peas and will often serve it over tortellini. Don't forget the MAKES the dish!
My 4 and 9 year old loved it! I served it to them with chicken and they cleaned their plates! Me and my hubby had it with garlic shrimp,so good!
This was AMAZING!!! I had been looking for an alfredo recipe for so long, my kids would eat ONLY Olive Garden fettucine alfredo, for the first time they liked one made by me. I just doubled the recipe, substituted the Philadelphia Cream cheese with 1/3rd less fat Philadelphia Cream cheese, 1 cup milk with hald cup full cream milk and 1/2 cup fat free half and half, and added freshly sauteed garlic, it was wonderful. Will definitely make it again!
made this again tonight but added shrimp to it. wonderful recipe. the only alfredo sauce i make. dont waste your $$ at olive garden. make this instead if you are craving alfredo.
I made this recipe and it was so delicious. I did make one change though. I actually doubled the recipe because i use a whole box of fettuccini and then I doubled the cream cheese again because the sauce was kind of thin. Turned out wonderful.
I have made this recipe quite a few times and we absolutely love it! I add chopped baby portabella mushrooms and shredded chicken. I also double (sometimes tripple) the recipe. I do add a touch of flour to thicken it just a tad, then add my noodles. It has been a success everytime and I highly recommend it!!
