Yes, Virginia, there really was an Alfredo. Frankly, we think he’d love our version of his pasta dish. Like his, ours is simple yet spectacular.

I use this recipe all the time, it is awesome. I don't use the nutmeg or white pepper though. I used black pepper instead, salt, garlic powder, cayenne, and some red pepper flakes. I also double the ingredients to have enough servings for the week.

This is a great and easy recipe. Also a much healthier alternative to typical fettuccine alfredo made with heavy whipping cream.

Very good sauce! I was surprised with the cream cheese but this will replace my other Alfredo recipe. I froze the left over sauce for about 2 weeks & it was just as good the second time!

I make this all the time and add a little extra milk and chicken. However I made the mistake of adding ricotta when I made it tonight...don't do it. It's bad. If you feel like it needs a little something, add broccoli or spinach with chicken and follow the recipe.

I use the alfredo sauce recipe every week with different noodles, or with cheese filled raviolli. And I add chicken sometimes also. We all love it at my house!

This is VERY good. I've made it many times. I actually crave it. So easy too! Very little measuring. Good with added chicken or frozen peas. A cook in StL, MO.

My kids, nieces, and nephews love this. Sometimes I add a tablespoon (or 2) of pesto, too.

My husband and I liked this recipe. The sauce is a little thin, but much better than anything you can buy at the store. We will be making this again.

I was skeptical at first, because of all the great reviews. I must say, this is GREAT! The kids loved it and it was very easy to do. I added the nutmeg as well as black pepper and parsley. I seasoned my ckicken breast w/black pepper & basil and it taste great! I would make this again. I didn't have any garlic powder left, but it was still great!

I usually make Alfredo Sauce the "real" way - basically heavy cream, butter, Parmesan - and serve as a side dish. I was out of cream so I tried this. It was very good, but can't beat the real thing. Having said that, I would make this recipe again.
