Tasted more like plain yellow cake (and yes, bananas were very ripe). I have other recipes that are more moist and more flavorful. Frosting was too sweet. Don't waste your time and ingredients.

This is the best cake I have ever made. If your in need to impress someone this will defiinitely do the trick. Moist and delicious and just melts in your mouth.

This cake tops the list! Made with the frosting, it will call your name in the middle of the night, not a crumb wasted. I gave the recipe to all my friends and family. Looking forward to making it again

This was easy to make, as well as light, moist, & delicious. I substituted powdered egg whites (2 tbsp powder dissolved in 6 tbsp warm water) for whole eggs. The cake doesn't need icing--it can stand on its own.

Made this cake Sunday. I used a banana flavered cake mix which eliminates the cup of mashed bananas and added about a tablespoon of vanilla extract. Served it with vanilla ice cream. MMMMMMMM good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
