Tastes like banana pudding!
Made this cake countless times - it is AMAZING, and the "go-to" birthday cake for the entire family!!!!
This has become a favorite of mine and anyone who has tasted it. It is delicious and moist. Love it....
After reading the reviews for this recipe i was a bit nervous about making it...i don't make a lot of cakes, the thought of it collapsing worried me...but i made it to take to our family christmas dinner. It was fabulous!!!!!! everyone loved it, i already know i am going to have to make it again. I followed the recipe as it is, i added nothing extra and the cake turned out perfect.
For those of you who have had the cake fall, add 1 heaping teaspoon of baking soda. That's what my old recipe which otherwise is very similar recommends. :)
We love this cake, but as others have commented, sometimes it collapses. Looks great coming out of oven, but collapses while cooling. Still tastes good, but the layers are only 3/4" high. I have not heard anyone comment how to avoid this. I do mine in 13x9 pan.
One of the best cakes I've ever made. I made it years ago for Christmas and my family still talks about it. I've since made it for a work function and now they ask me to make it for potlucks! It's deeeeelicious. I definitely recommend slowly adding the powdered sugar to the cream cheese and tasting frequently--some people think it's too sweet. Also...freeze it before you frost it or it will be a mess!
Delicious and so easy. One of my go to favorites to take in to work!
We absolutely love this Banana Cake, having made it 3 times since I saw it in the FOOD & FAMILY Magazine.
I love this cake it's the best ever, I made about 10 cakes during Christmas because everyone couldn't get enough. Everyone should try it it's amazing!
