Served this at a family gathering and everybody loved it. The onions were a bit overwhelming and I think I'd cut back by at least half, but otherwise, a nice fresh side dish.

I added diced red bell peppers.I blanched the broccoli, it takes on the flavor better, then chilled the salad. Everyone really enjoyed it. Another time I added 2 cans medium canned shrimp instead of the bacon.

I love this salad! Its quick and easy. I add sunflower seeds and omit the onion for my daughter. When spring comes she knows this salad is sure to follow.

This is a great side for just about any occassion. My family uses real mayo (I use Kraft - Olive Oil) and we add 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese and a chopped boiled egg. AWESOME!!!!

I have been making this for years. Always a hit. I add red grapes sliced in half and sunflower seeds. If you are making it the day before, mix the dressing ingredients and wait until you are ready to serve to mix with the other vegs. The broccoli tends to get soggy if you let it sit overnight.

I love this! I make it many times during the summer. I use real Mayo & add toasted almonds, mandarin oranges & crasins. Delish!

We love this recipe all year round. Since there are picky eaters in our family we substitute shredded cheddar cheese for the onions. Everyone loves it!

I make a similar recipe and add red seedless grapes that are sliced in half for variation. So good!!!
