I've been making this salad for several years. It is always a hit at ladies luncheons. I prefer to add a little extra sugar to the dressing, use Red wine vinegar instead of white. and I always top it off with raisins and sunflower kernals. I mix the dressing in advance, and add it just before serving. This yummy salad will get soggy if made in advance.

this salad was great. made it for a cookout and was a nice change from your usual potatoe, mac, pasta salads. i added some shredded cheese for a little extra. tasted better after i let it marinate in the frig over night.

very good i added tons of other veggies too. Some cucumbers, carrots shredded cherry tomatoes and chunks of cheese. It was a hit and a different salad than all the pasta and potato salads at the BBQ

Rave reviews at our get-together. I've made this recipe for years with red grapes, so my kids will eat it - but the onion is nice too.

This is good but can be improved on- add grated red cabbage and apple for more flavor. I leave out the bacon but thats just my pref grapes are good as well as dried fruit. The cabbage and apple stretch the salad also.
