I substituted 'Equal' for the sugar and shredded cheddar cheese for the bacon. Mmmm! I also made this adding yellow raisins and sunflower seeds.

This was a tasty way to get my veggies in! We used dried cranberries rather than raisins, I think they have a better flavor. I recently took this to a potluck, and everyone wanted to know who brought this salad because they wanted the recipe! One comment - 'it is the real bacon that makes it'. No leftovers...

I've been making this for a long time and it is always a hit. I also add a cup of shredded cheddar and it's great. This is terrific for a potluck.

Awesome! Served it to my family for Easter and everyone loved it, even ones who don't like onion! I didn't think the bacon would hold up in leftovers, but I like it even better the next day if you have any left to have! Definately will make it again and again!

I love this salad. I make it with the rasins and have people to ask for it at my job and at family gatherings. Especially Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter

I HAD THIS SALAD AT A CATERED RECEPTION. IT WAS GONE BEFORE THE END OF THE LINE GOT THERE. HAVE MADE IT SINCE AND IT NEVER LASTS.
