Tangy Broccoli Salad

Tangy Broccoli Salad recipe
Broccoli proves that it’s no boring ol’ veggie in this smart dish. Give it a little sweet-tangy dressing—and a sprinkling of bacon—and next thing you know, it's gone.

This recipe was SO good! Super easy to make. I added some chopped tomato and freshly grated parmesan and it was GREAT! Even my picky 2yr old ate the brocoli!

Also great if you add sunflower seeds and raisins.

Fantastic! This is super easy, especially if you use the real bacon peices already cooked and crumbled (Oscar Mayer has it now!) found in the bacon bits and salad toppings section of any grocery store. I also added sunflower seeds and raisins. Everyone will love this salad! The leftovers the next morning were just as good. I've also seen it made with mandarin oranges as well. Incredible! You'll get nothing but raves for this salad!

I received the recipe from a friend and have seen it used with red onions. I use red grapes and sunflower nuts in addition to the bacon. Try it sometime with the red grapes, I'm sure you'll like it just as well! The broccoli stays crispy which is important.

This is a great dish...I always add 3/4 Cup of sunflower seeds, for added texture and protein.

I recently made this dish for a picnic with co-workers. Everyone really enjoyed it. The consistency remained unchanged and held up beautifully even though I made it in the morning and we didn't eat it until late afternoon.
