Tangy Broccoli Salad

Tangy Broccoli Salad recipe
Broccoli proves that it’s no boring ol’ veggie in this smart dish. Give it a little sweet-tangy dressing—and a sprinkling of bacon—and next thing you know, it's gone.

Delicious! I've made this a couple of times and it's always a hit with a crowd. It goes with anything and the flavors are just perfect. This is probably my favorite salad. =)

I love this salad. I add shopped pecans and golden raisins for additional crunch.

Love this salad... But I like to blanch the broccoli & onion (20-30 seconds). Seems to mellow out the taste of the onion, and it gives the broccoli a nicer bite.

Whole family Enjoyed this! Made some changes due to what was in my pantry. USED: Turkey bacon (cooked til crisp) & Splenda (instead of sugar)

Served this at a family gathering and everybody loved it. The onions were a bit overwhelming and I think I'd cut back by at least half, but otherwise, a nice fresh side dish.

I added diced red bell peppers.I blanched the broccoli, it takes on the flavor better, then chilled the salad. Everyone really enjoyed it. Another time I added 2 cans medium canned shrimp instead of the bacon.

I love this salad! Its quick and easy. I add sunflower seeds and omit the onion for my daughter. When spring comes she knows this salad is sure to follow.

This is a great side for just about any occassion. My family uses real mayo (I use Kraft - Olive Oil) and we add 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese and a chopped boiled egg. AWESOME!!!!
