Zesty Marinated Chicken

Mushrooms and basil add great flavor to chicken marinated in zesty dressing. The melted cheese on top doesn't hurt either.

What You Need

1/2

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb.)

1/4

cup KRAFT Reduced Fat Parmesan Style Grated Topping

cup sliced fresh mushrooms

Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

1/4

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Colby & Monterey Jack Cheeses

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

POUR dressing over chicken in shallow glass dish; turn to evenly coat chicken. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.

REMOVE chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place grated topping in shallow dish. Add chicken; turn to evenly coat both sides of each breast. Place in single layer in shallow pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 30 min. Meanwhile, cook mushrooms in skillet sprayed with cooking spray on high heat 3 min. or until tender, stirring frequently. Stir in basil.

TOP chicken with mushrooms and shredded cheese; bake 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

Really easy and very good. My husband and kids loved it. I used canned mushrooms instead of fresh and it came out great.

This was a very easy dish. We love the Zesty Italian Salad Dressing anyway, so it was a fun thing to use on the chicken. It was a big hit and I will certainly be making this again.

awesome! the only thing is the chicken wasn't quite cooked after 30 min at 350 degrees, so I cooked it 20 min longer at 400 degrees.

This is an awesome recipe. Normally when I try new recipes, either my husband likes it and my kids don't, or my kids like it and my husband doesn't. But this one was a hit with my entire family!!! Also, very quick and easy!
