Zesty Marinated Chicken

Zesty Marinated Chicken recipe
Mushrooms and basil add great flavor to chicken marinated in zesty dressing. The melted cheese on top doesn't hurt either.

I thought the flavor was very good, and this was VERY easy to make. Next time I may try a different type of cheese other than Colby. While I liked it, one of my children thought the taste was too strong.

The recipe was great, I loved it. I did do the mushroom part a little different but other than that it was the same. I sauteed the mushrooms in butter and added a onion and bell pepper seasoning mix. I also used the dried basil in the jar.

I think this was ok. I used onions instead of mushrooms because they irritate my allergies. I will try it again to see how I really feel about it.

This is one of my favorite recipes of all time. My kids even love it and request it for dinner. I like it best with cilantro, but it is excellent with basil, too.

All I can say is OMG!!! This was delicious. I added butter and garlic powder when doing the mushrooms. I'll be making this more often =) Yummy!!!

It is easy to make and delicious. I did not have fresh basil, but dried basil. And I used Mexican Style cheese instead of Colby & Monterey Jack cheese. It was still good. I will make it again.
