Simple, yet yummy recipe. Bacon bits work on top too.

I have been eating these potatoes since I was a kid. I use less cheese and more mayo. Enough to completly coat the taters. I also bake mine for about an hour so that everything is blended and gooey

I'm not totally sure that I would make this again. It was ok, but had a very "onion-y" aftertaste (and I didn't use all of the onion that it called for). It was definitely easy, but certainly not as good as other recipes I've found on kraftfoods.com. The Velveeta cheese also gave it an odd flavor. I would suggest using a different cheese. Lastly, I cooked the potatoes longer, to make sure they were completely done. 45 minutes, checked it, 15 more minutes, added the bacon, and then 10 more. Perfectly cooked.

This recipe is great with ham and green beans for dinner. I enjoyed making potates a different way and different taste.

We really loved these potatoes. They are a great side dish and we make them pretty often. They are definitely a family favorite.
