If i had a choice...I would rather make pancakes from a $.99 box of pancake mix.

This recipie was almost the same thing that my mom makes for her homemade recipie for pancakes!! I was amazed on how good it tasted! I think you have the best recipie so far out of every thing I have tried except my mothers and my grand mothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a whole bunch!!!!!

The pancakes turned out to be flat. From the comments, I expected fluffy pancakes that rise but they didn't rise... or react at all! The bubbles were so small and unconvincing. The pancakes were thin, too light, and too airy.

I did not use the salt. I also added a little more milk to thin it out a bit. Overall, a very good recipe. My kids liked it.

These were the first "from scratch" pancakes I've ever made. All 3 of my children (9,4 and 2) had seconds. These are the best pancakes we ever tried! We will be making these again and again!

I'm not a big pancake fan. They are usually too dry and taste like baking powder. Can't stand the boxed kinds. I absolutely LOVE these, however. Grat flavor, light, and moist. I add two small bananas to batter before cooking. My boyfriend loves them, too!

Today my 2 and 3 year olds wanted pancakes for lunch. I usually make a buttermilk recipe but didn't have an buttermilk so I tried this. It was so good. The kids ate three each. I'm very impressed.

I made these on Sunday. They were great! Only I added 2 TBS. melted butter instead of oil. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
