A HIT IF I KNEW ONE!!!!! Family LOVED it! My mother is a Apple Crisp woman, went to Denny's and other restaurants and hated them. Couldn't eat it. My first time making one, she tried it, LOVED it, couldn't get enough. I added graham cracker crumbs to the oat mix, drizzled a little honey and syrup over the apples before adding the oat mixture. Baked for 40 minutes, it was bubbly and sweet. Not too sweet though. Crunchy and had great flavor.Crunchy from the Pecans (don't like walnuts) and oats. But the apples were very tender. It cooled for 5-10 minutes and I put two scoops of ice cream on the plate, scooped a heap of Apple Crisp next to it. Added some thawed cool whip/ whip cream on top of the Crisp and sprinkled cinnamon over the whipped cream and served it hot. I will make this for my fiance' for a romantic desert. And add som

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this recipe was. It was so easy to make as well. I didn't find it too tart OR too sweet. I liked the added walnuts. It gave it a nice crunch along with the oatmeal. I will definitely be making this again :)

Very yummy and very easy to make. I loved how wonderful the house smelled with this in the oven! I found it was easier to coat the apples with the cinnamon/flour mixture if placed in a resealable plastic bag and shaken. Delicious!

This recipe is so easy to make, and tastes like it took hours! I made it for a breakfast dish for a teacher gathering, and everyone loved it. It even tastes good cold or at room temperature. Highly recommend!
