This recipe is was so simple to make and was absolutely delicious! Brought it to work and my coworkers devoured it!

What You Need

1/2

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, finely crushed (about 1/2 cup)

1/3

cup packed brown sugar

1/3

cup flour

1/4

cup PLANTERS Walnuts

1/3

cup butter or margarine, melted

tsp. ground cinnamon, divided

1/2

cup packed brown sugar

Tbsp. flour

Granny Smith apples, peeled, sliced (about 6 cups)

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX oats, graham crumbs, 1/3 cup each brown sugar and flour, nuts, butter and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon until well blended; set aside.

MIX 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour and remaining cinnamon in large bowl. Add apples; toss to coat. Place in 8-inch square baking dish; sprinkle with oat topping.

BAKE 35 to 40 min. or until apples are tender. Cool slightly.

How to Make Graham Cracker Crumbs

Place grahams in large resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Crush grahams by using a rolling pin to roll back and forth over the bag.

Soooo good!! I didn't use walnuts or the crackers and it was still amazing. Tried it with the skins on, not so good, they came out super chewy. Will do it again without skins...Use spartan apples, mmmm.

This recipe was good, but not as good as the kind I usually make and quite a few more ingredients. If you have young children, I'd suggest using apples that breakdown better than Granny Smiths. The Granny's were a little tough for my one year old to gum. I ended up chopping up his serving pretty small and mixing in apple sauce - he loved it! We were shocked by the clean bib, lap, floor etc... It was his first "sweet treat"!

The apples take the longest to peel but it was very easy to make after that and the taste was just perfect!

Hands down, the best crisp I've ever had. It works with other fruit too! Peaches were delicious!

I've made this recipe twice and it is sooo good! The best thing is it uses things that you already have in your pantry. The only change I made, was that I doubled the topping. Just personal preference, but I like a lot of crisp. This one is definitely a keeper!

I liked this recipe, but I used SPLENDA instead the brown sugar. My husband and I liked the result. Will make it again since we have a lot of apples on our trees

Soooooo good! The topping was amazing and the graham crackers really brought out the flavor! It is esay and delicious...and takes relatively little time to make!
