The kids loved this recipe! However they prefer their noodles plain (we don't add the cheese) - and we added blue food coloring to make the octopus in an 'ocean' of noodles. Little dots of mustard bring out the eyes too!

This was done as a surprise for dinner and their reaction cracked me up! This was fun for me and the kids were thrilled.

My mom used to make this when I was little as a summertime lunch treat. I just loved it.

The kids enjoyed eating them and the whole family really had a great time making them with the Frankfurter Converter that was purchased over the web! (www.octodog.net the web site mentioned in the earlier post.) It really added fun to our last family camping trip!

It's great for the kids. They love it! Cutting the hot dog into an octopus is a little tricky. I recommend looking at www.octodog.net. It's worth it, and will add years of fun to your hot dogs with the kids!

I MADE THIS DISH FOR MY 2YR.OLD AND SHE LOVED IT. I BOILED THE FRANKS ALONE SEPERATLY AND ADDED GREEN FOOD COLORING TO THEM. SHE REALLY ENJOYED THE GREEN OCTOPUS.
