Mile-High Fudge Brownie Pie

Not actually a full mile, but we're talking a tall, tall pie. Fudge brownies, pudding and whipped-topping dreaminess rival your favorite diner dessert.

What You Need

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/2

cup butter or margarine

3/4

cup sugar

eggs

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup flour

pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour until well blended. Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Scoop out center of brownie with spoon, leaving thin layer on bottom and 1/2-inch-thick rim around edge. Reserve removed brownie pieces for later use.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. (Pudding will be thick.) Stir in half the COOL WHIP and all but 1/2 cup of the reserved brownie pieces. Spoon into brownie crust; top with remaining COOL WHIP and reserved brownie pieces. Refrigerate 2 hours.

My neice made this a couple of times and then I made it. It was awesome. Very rich but good. On one occasion i did use a brownie mix it was good but i will follow the recipe the next time i make it

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! So easy and delicious. My family loved it. I will def. make again. I added chocolate chunks to brownies after reading reviews and i think it added texture to what could be a soft pie. Also used cook and serve pudding, i prefer it to instant. Took a little longer because it had to cool, but other than that super super fast and easy

Absolutely loved this! I made this for a Bible study group and there were even people scraping out the pie plate with their forks it was so good! I also added semi-sweet chocolate chips in the pudding mix for some extra goodness.
