Mile-High Fudge Brownie Pie

Not actually a full mile, but we're talking a tall, tall pie. Fudge brownies, pudding and whipped-topping dreaminess rival your favorite diner dessert.

What You Need

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/2

cup butter or margarine

3/4

cup sugar

eggs

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup flour

pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour until well blended. Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Scoop out center of brownie with spoon, leaving thin layer on bottom and 1/2-inch-thick rim around edge. Reserve removed brownie pieces for later use.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. (Pudding will be thick.) Stir in half the COOL WHIP and all but 1/2 cup of the reserved brownie pieces. Spoon into brownie crust; top with remaining COOL WHIP and reserved brownie pieces. Refrigerate 2 hours.

This pie will be a tradition for our family. I made it for Thanksgiving and it was a hit with everyone that loved chocolate. It was delicious, very pretty and so simple to make.

I made this pie for Thanksgiving, and it was the favorite hands down. I brought it out and everyones eyes lit up! I really felt bad because the old favorite pumpkin pie didn't get touched until much later!

Am the man of the house and do not usually prepare desserts, but, WOW! made this for Thanksgiving and everyone who saw it wanted a piece and came back for seconds. I highly recommend this pie for anyone who dearly loves chocolate! It is to die for!

This recipe is awesome!! Not only does it taste delicious, but it is VERY easy to make! It would be a great recipe to have the kids help with!
