Crunchy Asian Salad

Ramen isn't just for college students anymore. The crunchy noodles have moved to the potluck circuit in an Asian Coleslaw with a mix of sweet and tangy.

What You Need

env. (0.7 oz.) GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

1/2

cup sugar

Tbsp. soy sauce

pkg. (3 oz. each) ramen noodle soup mix

pkg. (16 oz. each) coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)

green onions, sliced

1/2

cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Sunflower Kernels

1/2

cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds, toasted

Make It

PREPARE dressing mix in small bowl as directed on envelope. Stir in sugar and soy sauce.

BREAK apart Noodles; place in large bowl. Discard Seasoning Packets or reserve for another use. Add coleslaw blend, onions, sunflower kernels and nuts to noodles; mix lightly.

ADD dressing; toss to coat.

Make Ahead

Dressing can be prepared ahead of time; refrigerate up to 24 hours before using. Noodles can also be crumbled the day before; place in resealable plastic bag along with the sunflower kernels and nuts. Seal bag and store at room temperature until ready to use to assemble salad.

Substitute

Prepare using GOOD SEASONS Asian Sesame Dressing Mix.

This recipe was amazing! My husband, loved it! I didn't have regular vinegar, so I used Balsamic. Also, I used half the recipe for everything but used the whole recipe for the dressing-it was nice and rich. Next time, I'll make the whole recipe with all of the dressing to see how it is.

Easy, delicious recipe that goes well with just about anything. Great for potlucks, picnics or any large gathering. I get lots of compliments on this recipe and will make it for many years to come.

Have made this so many times, I know it by heart! Have used the Kraft ASian Ginger Salad dressing instead of making my own and it's a great sub!

Absolutely love this recipe! I have made it several times, and everyone loves it! I've had to share the recipe with so many people that I now bring copies of it with me whenever I serve this salad.

EXCELLENT! Sooooo delicious! Everyone ranted & raved over it! I think I saw several people go back for 3rds & 4ths! This recipe was so quick & easy to make & I highly recommend it!
