Crunchy Asian Salad

Ramen isn't just for college students anymore. The crunchy noodles have moved to the potluck circuit in an Asian Coleslaw with a mix of sweet and tangy.

What You Need

env. (0.7 oz.) GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

1/2

cup sugar

Tbsp. soy sauce

pkg. (3 oz. each) ramen noodle soup mix

pkg. (16 oz. each) coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)

green onions, sliced

1/2

cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Sunflower Kernels

1/2

cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds, toasted

Make It

PREPARE dressing mix in small bowl as directed on envelope. Stir in sugar and soy sauce.

BREAK apart Noodles; place in large bowl. Discard Seasoning Packets or reserve for another use. Add coleslaw blend, onions, sunflower kernels and nuts to noodles; mix lightly.

ADD dressing; toss to coat.

Make Ahead

Dressing can be prepared ahead of time; refrigerate up to 24 hours before using. Noodles can also be crumbled the day before; place in resealable plastic bag along with the sunflower kernels and nuts. Seal bag and store at room temperature until ready to use to assemble salad.

Substitute

Prepare using GOOD SEASONS Asian Sesame Dressing Mix.

Very unexpected. I made this for a group dinner and everyone loved it. No one belived I got it from here!! It blends flavor and texture very well.

This was a great recipe! However I did cut everything in half and still think that there was too much dressing. Next time that I make this I will cut the dressing in half again.

a friend of mine made this for me and our entire family loved it! I just had to have the recipe, so here i am getting it and will try to make it now. It is a must try for all.

This salad is so wonderful! I've made it three times already!! The only thing I did different was instead of making my dressing I used the Kraft Asian Sesame Dressing---wonderful!!

To say this salad was a hit is a huge understatement! EVERYONE wanted the recipe and now I'm asked to bring it to all our get togethers. Super easy and super tasty!!

I really liked the sunflower seeds and the almonds! I never thought about using ramean noodles this way! It turned out great! I will make this again...soon!
