Grilled Cedar-Planked Salmon

Grilled Cedar-Planked Salmon recipe
Sun-dried tomato dressing and a cedar plank go a long way to impart glorious flavor into a sensible salmon dish. To quote a reader, “Superb for sure!”

This is the most wonderful dish ever! I've made salmon before but this is just too fantastic for words! You have to try it to believe it.

I have been plank cooking for a couple years now and this is the best recipe so far. If someone has not cooked salmon or any other fish on a cedar plank. they do not know what they are missing.

I did this one without a cedar plank, so maybe that's why i rate this less. I thought this was good, but lacked flavor. The basalmic version by Kraft is much better.

I prepared this recipe last summer and am getting ready for July 4th. I'm making it again as so many people commented on how delicious it was, especially with the sun dried tomatos. What a great recipe.

I've made a similar recipe that's spectacular! I place half a salmon skin side down on the soaked board and spread a layer of orange marmalade over the entire top. Then sprinkle with sliced almonds and grill about 20 minutes or until salmon flakes easily. One of my guests who ate it added it to the menu at his restaurant. Leslie, Salt Lake City
