I've made this recipe many times and everyone has loved it. It's very easy to make. During the summer months, I make it in advance and have it on hand for when friends drop over. Very refreshing.

I made this for a family gathering over a year ago. When my sister-in-law was asked what she wanted for her birthday last weekend this was her request. She likes the lemon sherbert although I made both. I had some extra and took some to the neighbor and now he is requesting the recipe to try it with other flavors of sherbert. I used the lemon juice every time though.

I didn't care for this recipe at all. The "white" layer is way too rich, and there was not enough lemon-lime flavor for my taste; I added the recommended amount of lime juice, but I could not distinguish a lime flavoring. Way too bland.

The finished product using the tin foil method didnt look very good so I ended up "frosting" the whole thing with cool whip. I also made a double layer which looked very pretty. This is an absolutely fantastic light dessert!
