I made it for a party and was a bit leary about the pretzel crust. My friends thought that it was fantastic and figured I spent a lot of time making them. Boy were they wrong!

It was very easy to make and was the perfect ending of a mexican meal

My family did not like this dessert. The pretzels were soggy and the filling didn't have enough strawberry taste. It didn't even have a pink color like the picture showed.

I didn't have pretezls so I used gramcracker crumbs and put a little bit of Margarita salt ,just enough to give is a tiny salt taste. I also used only the juice of one large lime and a cap full of Jose Cuervo Tequila (just to give it a try) It was great!!!

My pretzels for the bottom were very soggy after sitting overnight. Also, should have used about 1/2 of the lime juice. It was not a big hit at our reunion-maybe just not sweet enough with all the lime juice.

All I had were blueberries, so I used them instead of strawberries and it tasted wonderful. I also made an oreo crust, since I was out of pretzels. Fat free whipped topping helps keep the calories low. This recipe gives you some room to play around. I'll bet fresh peaches would be good, maybe pineapple.. Mmmmm
